solare°Rust / wgpu

solare° – a real-time Solar System and planetary surface explorer

solare° is a free, full-screen 3D simulation of the Solar System that runs in your browser on WebGPU (Rust compiled to WebAssembly). It places the Sun, the eight planets, the Moon, the four Galilean moons of Jupiter and the moons of Mars where they really are, using JPL approximate Keplerian elements for 1800–2050, a truncated ELP lunar theory and JUP365 / MAR099 moon ephemerides for 2025–2027.

What you can do

The interface is available in English, Polish, German and Spanish. A browser with WebGPU is required; there is also a desktop app. Sources and credits: NASA, JPL, USGS, Solar System Scope, OpenStreetMap, GUGiK, Copernicus. The simulation is educational and approximate; see the project documentation for limits of accuracy.

solare° – interaktywny Układ Słoneczny i eksplorator powierzchni planet

solare° to darmowa symulacja 3D Układu Słonecznego działająca w przeglądarce (WebGPU).
